M73B2
.30-06 - France - M1903A4

Not much information is available regarding the M73B2. Designed and built by OPL (Optique & Précision de Levallois) in France for the US Army in 1945. It is unclear if the scopes were ever issued. It is belived around 500 were produced.

Elevation and Windage are handled by a pair of rings that move the scope body inside the ring mount.

The right side of the front ring has a cutout window allowing light to pass into the scope to illuminate the reticle in low light conditions. In dark light conditions light passing through this window changes the reticle from its regular black color to silvery white color.

Reticles are all T post style some with and some without an integrated rangefinder.
